Honor the Mothers, a ministry group of Life Church, is an unique outreach effort that provides construction assistance and home improvement services to needy single mothers and widows in our Orange County community. The group values the many selfless sacrifices that single mothers make in raising their children alone and realizes that those seemingly minor “honey-do” maintenance items around the house can often become troublesome issues for these women who are alone in running their households. Serving our World is a ministry to Thailand and Indonesia lead by Mike and Gwen Thomforde. In 2005, a major project to build an orphanage/community center in Thailand called the Good Life Home & Center was built with significant support from Life Church. This building will house 50 orphaned children and it will also be used to train, educate and support the local community.
Serving Our World is a charity dedicated to
providing care to orphan and abandoned children in developing
countries, with current projects in East Timor and Thailand. Providing
homes that have a loving family environment as well as caring for all
physical and educational needs.
Our vision is to care for and work together with relatives thus helping
support Families. We also provide Relief from disasters, such as the
Tsunami, by building homes and giving ongoing care to reestablish the
family. Our areas of relief include providing meals and education,
medical clinics and preschools along with hygiene facilities.
